Applied Micro, Inc. is a Microsoft Partner and has over 15 years experience developing programs in Visual Basic (VB) and Visual Basic for Applications (VBA).  AMI has developed large multi-user custom Visual Basic applications that are used company-wide to run our client's business.  We have also developed small single-user Visual Basic applications for specialized tasks within a client's company.  AMI has experience developing applications within Microsoft Access, as well as automating tasks within Microsoft Office using Visual Basic for Applications.

AMI's programming staff has experience developing Data Access Pages (DAP) using Microsoft Office Web Components (MSOWC) and the Data Source Control (MSODSC).  Using these Microsoft Office Components, the application screen is presented as a web page to the user in Internet Explorer, making the application easy to navigate and learn.  In addition, AMI has experience creating ActiveX controls in Visual Basic for use as components on web pages or in other projects.

Consulting services for customers who need assistance with Visual Basic programs are available through AMI on a fairly short notice. AMI consultants meet with the customer to evaluate and scope out the project. A detailed written proposal is then generated from the evaluation process and presented to the customer as a customized consulting engagement. Once accepted, the service is delivered as documented in the proposal. Upon completion, a written or oral summary and training (if required) will be delivered to the customer.
